Today’s exhortation – biblical healing(UGB)

The first picture off ungodly belief and its consequences goes right to the beginning in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. They succumbed to temptation because they formed an ungodly belief that God had not been completely honest with them. So, when the devil said to Eve, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of the fruit your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”” (Genesis‬ ‭3:4-5‬), he made out that God had lied to them! However, we know what the truth is, “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers‬ ‭23:19‬).

Everything He has promised He will do. If He says He will supply that need, He will! If He says He will heal us of that sickness, despite the obvious, He will! If He says no weapon formed against us will prosper, then that’s what will happen! If He says, no good thing will He withhold from them that love Him, He will. These are truths from God! UGBs are linked to generational sins and resulting curses, soul hurts and demonic oppression the same way we inherited Adam and Eve’s sin and resulting curses along with soul hurts and demonic oppression. But Jesus has redeemed us and we’ll and look at how to break UGBs in our lives next and ways to be transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). Again this needs in-depth reading so please if you want to know more, I highly recommend “Biblical healing & Deliverance” by Chester & Betsy Kylstra.

Today’s exhortation – stop complaining!

I believe nothing robs us of our blessings more than complaining! It may seem that complaining is being honest but it leads to unbelief and fear and ultimately stops us taking hold of what God has for us. As a matter of fact God hates complaining and destroyed the Israelites who complained in the wilderness on their way to the promise land. The bible says that, “Now the people complained about their hardships in the hearing of the Lord, and when He heard them His anger was aroused. Then fire from the Lord burned among them and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.” Numbers‬ ‭11:1). Ultimately, their complaining prevented them from entering the promise land!

The bible says that God works everything together for our good so even when we go through hardships we can be sure that they too will work for our good. Time and time again God comes through for us, but because of our impatience, we end up complaining. “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” (Numbers‬ ‭23:19‬). Let’s make a conscious effort not to complain because by doing that we are allowing unbelief and fear to come in and that’s what the devil wants. As the bible says, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬). Amen
