Luke 24

November 1, 2018 by Alice Potter

Prayer Letter 2nd November 2018

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for the responses to last week’s PL.

YES! We must give Praise to The Lord. Paul in Sussex has been told this week he is clear of cancer. He continues to visit the hospital for after effects of the treatment. He is planning on returning to work late December/early January. Thank you all so much for joining me in Prayer for Paul. Continue to keep him in your Prayers please.

I mentioned last week that I had attended the Celebration Service in London for their three Emergency Services; J. Jon being the speaker. His three points; Prayer/Care/Share. I want to stay with those points over the next few weeks. Today – homing in on Prayer.

I leave the following verses with you where we see in Luke 24. 44-46, that Jesus needed to Pray, how much more should we be Praying.

In His anguish, Jesus prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground. When He rose from prayer and returned to the disciples, He found them asleep; “Why are you sleeping?” He asked. “Get up and pray.”

If you wish to contact me, please do so by adding a comment below

Blessings in Him

With my Prayers for you

Alice.
