Today’s exhortation – God will restore

The message I believe God wants us to hear today is that He will restore to us everything we have lost. Many of us have lost so much along the way, family, friends, status, wealth, investments, dignity, etc but if we would make God our focus, keep our eyes on Him and trust Him, He will restore. He’s a God of restoration and we see that throughout the bible. He restored to both Joseph and his father Jacob what they had lost. Joseph was seventeen years old when he was taken away from his father and his father lived seventeen years in Egypt with Joseph before he died. That’s the beauty of our God. So particular and so loving.

The restoration may take longer than we expect it to, but it will happen. However while we wait, “let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” (Galatians‬ ‭6:9‬). This is the word of The Lord to us today, “I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust,.. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.” (Joel‬ ‭2:25-26‬). Thank You Father God in Jesus name. Amen

Prayer Letter 23rd September 2016

Dear All,
I hope you are all well and having a good week? 🙂 I am looking forward to the weekend. My wife is away with the church and it will just be me and the boys. We will eat well, and unhealthily!!, have some fun, and watch some football!! Hoorah!! 🙂
I am guesting again this week, as Alice, spends some valuable time with family.
The verse that I want to share with you this week is from Joel 2, verse 28 [NIV]

The Day of the Lord
“… I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions.”

I have been feeling inspired for a couple of weeks now. I have been inspired by walks of faith officers and staff are on which we have prayed for on this newsletter, and for other men and women that I know within the wider Christian Police community who are leaving or finishing work to move into ministry. I am part of a setup team that is planning to start a new church in Aldershot. We have been seeking God for a vision for the Church, and of course, for God the possibilities are endless. I am also reading a book called Prophetic Evangelism by Mark Stibbe, which is an area of ministry I would love to see at work in our Church; lives changed and people saved. The journey that we are on as a group is really exciting.
I would encourage you all to dream dreams and dream BIG! If you haven’t been given a dream or vision ask your Father in Heaven for one, as what may come may well surprise you, and the journey may well excite you.

Please feel free to contact me at any time by adding a comment below or by clicking here

God Bless you.
In Him
Simon
