Today’s exhortation – declarations

“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so…” (Psalms‬ ‭107:2‬). Let them say, “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—” (II Corinthians‬ ‭4:8-9‬). “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans‬ ‭8:37‬). “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans‬ ‭8:31‬). For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews‬ ‭13:5‬). Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth…

For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the LORD, who has mercy on you. All your children shall be taught by the LORD, And great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.” (Isaiah‬ ‭54:4, 10, 13-14‬). “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (‭Psalms‬ ‭118:6‬). “I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD.” (Psalms‬ ‭118:17‬). The LORD will perfect that which concerns me…” (Psalms 138:8). Amen!!!

Today’s exhortation – our children are safe

There’s a wonderful promise from The Lord for us and our children which says, “But thus says the LORD: “…I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.” (Isaiah‬ ‭49:25‬). What a blessed assurance for parents. In today’s climate, parents are very worried for their children’s welfare and those fears are justified, but we can trust God to keep them safe. Surely He loves them more than we ever could. Jacob was like any parent today. He was deeply sad for the supposed loss of his son Joseph and became afraid to let his youngest son Benjamin leave his side. But, what he didn’t know was God was keeping his son Joseph safe and well just as He promised.

Your child may be struggling in school or may have become involved with the wrong crowd or using drugs or committing crimes, but I believe if we’ve committed them to The Lord, He will protect and save them. It may seem as if all is lost as was in Joseph’s case but God has everything under control. The word of God says, “All your children shall be taught by the LORD, And great shall be the peace of your children.” (‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:13‬). We know His word never fails. Have a blessed week. Amen.
