Today’s exhortation – Royal family
Not long ago, I observed the royal family of England on Tv and the confidence and poise with which they carried themselves struck a cord with me. I’m sure they all have their own problems but the way they carried themselves, you wouldn’t have known it. Which leads me onto us, we belong to a more Royal and prestigious family and therefore we ought to carry ourselves even better than they do. We are called to rule and reign with Christ and the bible says, “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” Ephesians 2:6). It doesn’t get any higher than that! No doubt we encounter many hardships but it doesn’t change our DNA. When God sees us, He sees overcomers, warriors and above all He sees Himself in us through Jesus Christ our Lord.
I can’t imagine Prince Charles begging to get into Buckingham palace and neither should we beg to go into the throne room of our Father in heaven. Sometimes the world may seem to be on our shoulders but in reality it’s not, It’s under God’s feet! The bible says, “This is what the Lord says: “Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool….” (Isaiah 66:1). We ought to walk into any place expecting to see God’s favour and we ought to be shocked when we pray for healing and don’t receive it because it’s His will that we’re healed. May Almighty God open our eyes, hearts and minds to the reality of who we are in Christ and may He remove any lies and inferiority complex we may’ve carry in our lives. Amen
