This is truly a Prayer Letter this week, so no room for the Bible slot at the end, but I will leave you a verse.
We have for some time been Praying for Paul. He should by now be back at work, but due to blood clots being a problem, he is still off work as further tests are taken and treatment is given.
Our 3-year-old Daughter of an Officer, is now undergoing 28 days of aggressive Chemo in a London Hospital, for Leukaemia. She is suffering from ulceration in her mouth and into her digestive system. This has resulted in her not being able to speak, eat or drink. She also has a number of infections around her body where she has various attachments to her body. “She is in a very big battle” as her Dad told me this week.
Her Dad in turn has had a serious car accident, the car; almost a right off. A car came out of a turning straight into the side of his car. Fortunately, as Dad said, “I did not hit my head, but I am very sore and full of aches and pains”. He was grateful to God for protection. Dad’s sense of the presence of the Lord is great. He is thrilled to hear from Colleagues who do not have a Faith, that they are Praying for him.
Our Officer who had a nasal/facial operation; is healing, but far too slowly for his liking.
Please continue to Pray for these people.
An Officer who wrote the Bible slot last week used the verse below. Another Officer wrote and told me this week how special that verse was to them, so in the light of all the above needs I am repeating it this week.
Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved”
May you know His Peace that passes all understanding.
