Prayer Letter from Alice

Hello Everyone,

In as much as you did it unto the least of these my brethren, you did it unto Me”.

On returning from Woking Custody nearly thirty years ago (I was in those days a Custody Visitor), I found myself saying to The Lord, “I still haven’t spoken about You whilst there”, I immediately “Heard” the above verse, Matthew 25.40.

I rushed home (I was walking!) to track it down, no Google; no Mobile in those days.

I found it to be within the context of “Visiting someone in Prison”. Surely that was the kind of place I had just visited. I did a lot of study and prayed much about this experience and realised –

I take the Lord with me wherever I go, even into the darkest places imaginable.

Please may I encourage you wherever your position in the Police takes you; you are God’s Child in that place sharing His Love and His Light, especially amongst your Colleagues. In my position as a Custody Visitor, I am not allowed to share my Faith.

Let us all be encouraged – as to who we are and wherever we are – we are In Him.

We impact people because we are His Children, words are not necessary.

My continued Prayers are with you as you continue to be a Blessing amongst everyone around you.

Together in Christ
