Again, a number of replies to last week’s Prayer Letter. It is good to know that the verses I have left you over these last two weeks have been beneficial. One writer shared how difficult it is to watch a close friend battling with illness. Truly grateful that they were able to leave the friend in The Lord’s Hands as the verse last week encouraged them so to do.
I believe it is right to share the third verse this week written by Jenny Hewer.
Father, we love to see Your face,
We love to hear Your voice.
Father, we love to sing Your praise
And in Your name rejoice.
Father, we love to walk with You
And in Your presence rest,
For we know we always can trust You.
With reference to Praise above, being a musician, I love leading singing in our Church. Such a privilege I have had in these last two weeks at Funerals, when giving thanks to God for two very different lives that have blest us over many years.
I also need to rest in His Prescence to recharge my batteries to be the person He wants me to be.
I have spent some time with Officers and Staff this last week who are in the frontline of prevention and protection. Such admiration for each one. A huge thank you to everyone for all you are and do., wherever your position is in Surrey Police.
Be encouraged in the words in the verse above; as you face every day.
Stay in His Prescence.
He is able.
