Last week I wrote about a Friend called “R”, who eventually had the courage to bring together a group of neighbours to Pray for a sick neighbour.
Within minutes of that PL arriving on a laptop, it was read and I received the following email –
Wow, that’s pretty powerful stuff! I’m similarly “backwards in coming forwards”. Thank you for sharing this, Alice!
Oh the honesty of the writer, so rang a bell with me.
I continued to be thoughtful over what “R” had done and how she stepped out in The Lord and where I am with Him…
Then I read the following. I have lost count of the number of times I have shared this. The last time it was with a friend out in Zimbabwe, who has gone out for 8 weeks to support the Christians there. Her Son is a Police Officer.
I leave it with you for your encouragement.
“You’re doing better than you think you are.
You’re deeply loved by a faithful, generous God.
You’re going to be okay because you’re in His Hands.”
You are special in His Eyes and you are in His Grip.
