I heard this short exchange for the first time this Easter. It was the winning entry for a Radio 4 competition where people were required to submit a short story with a beginning, a middle and an end. The maximum amount of words you could use was 20.

It took 16 words to convey the message of Easter. In case you are wondering, this is an exchange between Father God and His Son Jesus Christ. The kiss came from Judas, one of the 12 disciples as he betrayed Him. And the nails, well …

I’ve always wondered how Jesus, knowing that Judas was about to sell him out, didn’t treat him any differently…
