Psalm 103:1 KJV
“Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name”??
What a glorious day! Beautiful rays of glistening sunshine & the burst of flowers in bloom. Today, as I drove to work rabbits bobbed along the side of the fields & deer peaked through hedges (scared me a bit I kid you not!) & joy flooded my soul to see the handiwork of our awesome God! I began celebrate God & I encourage you to do the same, for He is to be praised, regardless of our circumstances.
As you survey the condition of the world and the sorrowful state we,as mankind, caused it to be, hope arises from the ashes. Each day we see counter-action & deliverance over the divisive plans of Satan by The Lord Most Mighty in Battle, The Conquering Lion of Judah. Try though he may, the enemy cannot conquer this world & he has a time limit which is expiring fast. He is furious & so he launches offensives, attacks after attacks BUT God is still on The Throne, thank you Jesus! Each day, our redemption comes closer because God is returning soon, this is our true promise.
We are so richly blessed by the opportunity to start again with Gods mercy & grace. Each day we ought to think of our blessings & “count them in abundance not only one by one” as the wonderful song tells us but indeed 2 by 2, as my Bishop always says! Let us double up our praises to God in exceeding joy & excellent reverence for His goodness & bountiful kindness towards us. “This is the day He has made let us rejoice & be glad in it”
Today let us just thank God for who He is. No agenda, no list – simply praise & bless Him with all our might & all our soul, indeed all that is within us & let His Shekina Glory flow over us, if for nothing else, bless God for this very beautiful moment, amen#Share this verse with all you meet today, someone will be encouraged in Jesus name??
God richly bless you & your household
Romans 8:37 (KJV)
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”??
Rise up! Rise up! Put on your armour. We are winners in Christ Jesus! Don’t feel like you are? Well go back to Phillipians 4:8 & tell your mind to think on the true & good report, the pure & lovely things of God. You’ve got to take your thoughts captive by force if needs be! Why? because Jesus already won the victory over Satan, death & hell- fact. How? By taking captivity captive, every shameful & disgraceful sin we have ever & will ever, commit. Jesus owns the keys to death & hell. He won the victory by crushing under His feet, doubt & indecision, malice & bittersweet, hatred, self -loathing, sickness, anxiety, suicide, sexual perversion and immorality & debt, to pay the only debt outstanding, now void. He paid it in full! By Jesus overcoming the world we are heirs to His Throne & Kingdom, so we are Overcomers too!
Put your best foot forward, lift your head up & go in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, believing that with God ALL things are possible. Our situation has been conquered so tell it HOW BIG your God is today! #Share this verse with your colleagues today, you are reaching someone who needs it
God richly bless you
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Phillipians 4:8 KJV
This verse is spiritual counselling with the simplest of remedy to a polluted mindset. The troubles & cares of this world threatens to dominate our very consciousness but if we position our minds to be like Christ’s and be ready to receive all of His goodness we have a barrier against this. The book of James chp 1 tells us “every good & perfect gifts is from above & comes down from The Father of Lights & He changes not neither turns His back on us.” When we consider this, we must place into our thoughts the goodness of God & His purity, love, truth, justice, the good news, kindness & keep thinking on them. Why He came – to save you & I. These thoughts will lead us to praise & replace all thoughts of negativity & despair. The “…think on these things “ part is the verb – the ‘doing part’ & we have got to act in order for transformation to take place. We have to continuously & persistently think on the true & lovely things of Christ & what He has already done in Scripture as a witness & testimony of just how great & wonderful & true He is; what He has done in each of our lives & that of others, the manifold blessings, some we are unaware of but it is God. We are also to think on what He has promised us that we will have in Eternity, the place He prepared for us, if we remain in obedience to Him, lest in between these good thoughts, the enemy comes to steal our joy, that’s how he works.
Lay hold, yes grab hold firmly, to this verse & take God at His Word because “it will accomplish that which it was set out to do” in our lives. In “…thinking on these things” in Jesus name, no other, chains will be broken as He frees our minds from the captive cycles and strongholds the enemy ensnares our thoughts in & we will remain in Heavenly places in our mindset & be in Christ’s peace. We will then begin to praise Him for His goodness & mercy towards us. #Dont forget to share this verse today??
God richly bless you,
We at LCPF are returning to our ‘Verse of the Day’ to encourage and uplift each other in the Body of Christ. We, as the Bible tells us, are “one body & if any part of our body is sick”, in need, in pain or low, indeed uplifted, the “whole body is affected”.
Today’s verse is;
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6 KJV
As we share these verses, please pass them on to others around you & by doing so, you share The Light of Jesus Christ wherever you go & the Word of God, spoken through you & the anointing of The Holy Spirit over that word, can breathe life into any situation, indeed, it can heal or draw a soul to Christ.
Worship God in Spirit & truth today, connect to Him with an open, honest heart & see Him open up the way for you. We have no might or power to change our situation whatever it be, only the authority of The Spirit of The Living God can, so look to Him, amen.
God richly bless you
“When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them” Isaiah 41:17 KJV
From a common cold to cancer, drug addiction to needing a transplant from loneliness to being fulfilled. From homelessness to living in a castle; financial quagmire to broken homes, from barrenness or being on the mountain top. From when you are in the valley and you feel as though you will never get out. Even from what seems final with death, there is nothing too hard for God. Indeed, many times I have cried out “How am I going to get through this?”; “I cannot bare it anymore..” Or “How long Lord?” Even “it’s unfair, why her?” Long suffering works patience. It bares fruit & fruit comes from The Source of The Vine, who is Jesus Christ. I have been in those valleys & I have had to learn to wait. I have learned to wait with patience and more than not, I have learned to wait impatiently but I have had to wait. There is something about the ‘way’ we wait which transforms our valley. It is the condition in which we wait. There are times when our valley requires much tears, snottied bawling- sometimes in a bawl. Driving & crying tears streaming down. At work tears where you have to blink them away, yes much tears. God sees these tears. There are times when being in the valley causes anxiety but there are times when our valley produces great strength like David’s, fighting & winning the victory over Goliath. Never forget the victory! God collects our tears in a bottle & they are before Him in The Throne Room “as a sweet smelling saviour”. God is “moved with the bowels of mercy & compassion” towards us, when our tears fall. They matter to Him. In every valley we ought to praise God & I am learning this more over & daily, as the Word of God tells us to ‘celebrate’, especially in darker times & “in everything give God thanks”. Even in something which starts out as a molehill, I praise because when that stubborn mountain shows itself angrily, from behind the beautiful sunshine I was experiencing, it’s my praises to God which keeps me going. When we praise, the glory of The Lord comes down on us and fills the very environment we are in, transforming the valley into a golden field. Gods Light floods the valley uplifting us into Heavenly places. David said “yea though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I will fear no evil” Psalms 23 why? Because The Lord is His Shepherd. His rod & staff will comfort & protect us.
Our daughter is currently unwell and each time I look at her ashen face, I pray & then I praise God for her healing to break forth. I cannot make her better but the God I serve can. I praise God for what He is about to do & what He is doing behind the scenes. I thank Him for the wisdom & knowledge He has given doctors in their capacity as medical caretakers then I do what I can do in the natural, all the extra loving, little things a parent does when their child is ill but the truest love I can give my child is by humbly confessing & approaching The Throne Room, delving into the deep & connecting to God by His Holy Spirit; connecting to Doctor Jesus. The best thing I can do is to cover her under the Blood of the Lamb, in the name of Jesus & this I do in prayer & praise. I did think “how am I going to get through this, I am so tired & I feel weak” but then the Holy Spirit breathes new energy into my soul & morning breaks forth. Great is Gods mercy towards us.
Let God take control. Realise that we can only do so much but The Creator who spoke into the atmosphere & the world & heavens was formed; The One who said “Let there be..” & it was; the One who fills every void with His presence who commands “peace be still” : the One who said “let us create man..”& it was done is in control. When everything is in chaos or despair; when your valley is so bleak & dark or your day is excellent but you still feel unsettled, when all you have is bills in front of you or still no job, when everyone passes you by on the street as though you are invisible or switches the channel because they are fed up with hearing about crime or wars or famine or disaster- lift up your head & focus on Jesus & praise Him. Sound strange? Watch what He will do when YOU do. Keep talking to Him, yes, talking to Him because that is what praying is; “Lord how am I going to make it?” “Lord I don’t know what to say but help me!” or “Hi Jesus, I don’t know if I believe but can you show me otherwise” or “Hi ..Jesus, can You spare a minute?” or “Lord my faith has been shaken” or even, “Jesus it’s me..again can I talk to you?” “Maybe just sigh..” Keep your eyes on The Master who calmed the waves & stormy seas and “look up, your redemption draws near”. One thing God loves is persistence, for us to keep ‘knocking, asking & seeking’ Him for our deliverance. He told us we have a right to boldly come to the Throne of Grace. His grace is sufficient to keep us.
I want to encourage someone today that serving God is not all hardship & strife and just as in life’s journey there are humps in the road, so in our spiritual life the enemy comes hard at us to deter us & see if we truly have faith in God to deliver us. Let go and let God deal with your heartbreak; deal with your bullies; fix your finances & heal your body mind & very much, our souls. One old song said “Where shall I go? Where shall I go? I’m seeking a Refuge for my soul. Needing a friend to guide me til the end, where shall I go but to the Lord” Jesus is our constant companion, He has already promised us He will be with us until the end of this world, so why do we struggle to turn to Him first in everything we do? Family, friends even paid professionals get tired of our situation, why? Because they are human & they are carrying their own situations whilst trying their best, to help others but the only One who can carry the weight of this world is Jesus. When I think of my humanity & limitation, I think of that song by Human League “I’m only human of flesh & blood I’m made…” (do you know that group or the song even..???) & I am greatly encouraged because I remind myself I can’t do this. No one can do this for me or you either, ONLY God. He alone can deliver us or our families out of whatever we face. I put in “I’m only human” in the search engine on my computer & a plethora of songs acknowledging my request popped up. I smiled at the honesty of these artists; we are only human. We are fallible & we don’t know everything neither can we fix everything. How true is this. Thank you Jesus our blessed Redeemer. He is Omniscient & Omnipresent. Everywhere at every time. He is multilingual- no language however indigenous, is foreign to Him. He knows the unspoken language of pain, elation frustration, joy & hurt. He knows the language of bias & fear, He speaks loneliness & tears. He teaches us to speak peace. The undiscovered language of explorers, is known to God. He is The greatest, Wisest Multitasker. He does not make mistakes. He is the best Teacher, Counsellor, Father & Friend & by every lash He took willingly for us, we are healed.
You are going to get through this, me too but we have to give it to God first. Take your vice-like grip off your problems, secrets or scenarios & present them at The Altar, Jesus became the Altar for you & I. He went to the Cross, remember Easter?- remind yourself of the stark reality & brutality of Calvary – it was for you & I. Withholding nothing, He bore it all for us so that we can live freely. You and I are human & when I think of my humanity, the infamous song by Human League “I’m only human of flesh & boood I’m made…” (do you know that group or the song even..???) comes to my mind & I am greatly encouraged because I remind myself I can’t do this without Jesus. No one can deliver me or you either, ONLY God can deliver us or our families, out of whatever we face. He alone blesses us. I put “I’m only human” in the search engine & a plethora of songs acknowledging my request popped up. I smiled at the honesty of these artists; we are only human. We are fallible, we break & hurt each other & we don’t know everything, neither can we fix everything. How true is this. However, our healing comes from God & He has shown us good examples, the only way, of how to forgive & love, as He first loved & forgave us. By trusting Him alone, you & I will, get through this & whilst we wait on our change, we can praise & pray for each other to The One who hears & answers all prayers. God will never forsake us.
Please pray with me for my daughter, my strength & my home. Offer a prayer for my colleague Stacey, who is also unwell. Pray for Teresa for continued strength and courage and for all the Oscar, Jess, Alfie & all the many children suffering with cancer & childhood diseases which doctors have no answer for, storm Heaven’s gates for their healing, please. Pray also for the changes facing LCPF and the Christian events, especially the Annual Celebration in October 2018, to come. Lift your faith to God, however small, He only requires a mustard seed proportion & He will answer you. You can get through this, amen ??
God richly bless you,
“And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 And they remembered his words,
9 And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.” Luke 24:5-9 KJV
We are ‘the rest’ of whom this scripture speaks!!! The Angels expressly sent this GOOD NEWS of the gospel of Jesus Christ’s resurrection via His followers. “Tell them JESUS IS ALIVE!” was the message. It is & remains, finished! Jesus declared this on the cross & as He triumphantly rose from the grave, defeating it- the truth was & still is there for all to see!
Rejoice, for through Calvary & Jesus’s resurrection, our sins are forgiven. Through His resurrection we have grace & mercy. Through His resurrection we have salvation & the gift of eternal life. Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice! Dance & sing for the stone is rolled away & Hope is here! Make more noise than the loudest football supporters ever known, lift up your voices & cry hallelujah for The King of Kings reigns victorious. Rejoice because He is coming back to take us to glory! Thank You Jesus for sparing us when we are so not worthy. Thank You for being the Sacrificial Lamb slain for our deliverance & for the shedding of Your precious Blood. Thank You for The Promise only You can redeem. Thank You for loving us that You gave Your only begotten Son. Thank Lord, our Father, Our Saviour??
Happy Easter from all at LCPF. This is the time of year we have been given to celebrate with joy, the most important day to us as children of Jesus Christ. This is the day of our jubilee, the day of our freedom! Share this with everyone you meet ??
God bless you all,
