Christian Police Meeting NSY Thursday 23rd April

Hi Everyone

We’re meeting in the Ground Floor Press Room this Thursday, 23rd April, at 1 pm – which will be a double blessing because we had the Prayer for Parliament Team meeting in there last night praying for the Met, the General Elections, and God’s heart for this nation.  Expect great and surprising things!

We’ve got one more session on the DVD JESUS: WHO & WHY which we will watch tomorrow, and then we’ll probably go on to another of Chuck Missler’s DVDs “The Church in End Times” – if that makes you want to bury your head in the sand or avoid it at all costs, be encouraged – GOD WINS!  It is really exciting stuff!

I’m having a re-think on our meetings, and would love to hear your thoughts on the matter.  By providing a range of sessions, it gives opportunities to those who can’t make the Thursday session.  Don’t feel overwhelmed by the list – the purpose of meeting together is to build one another up, not to place heavy burdens of ‘should attend’ on us.  God is in the house, and it is wonderful to spend time with Him.

I’m proposing:

Monday 1:00 – 1:40 Westminster @ 1: Bible Study Wesley Café Methodist Central Hall (already running)*

Tuesday 1:00 – 1:30 Westminster @ 1: Bible Teaching Chapel at Methodist Central Hall (already running)

Wednesday 1:00-1:30 pm – NSY: Bible study where we explore a passage of Scripture together (new)

Thursday 1:00-2:00 pm – NSY: DVDs / short courses such as Fruitfulness on the Frontline etc. (already running)

Friday 1:10-1:30 pm – NSY: prayer in the canteen (already running, but usually just me, which is cool – God and I have a great time together).

*Westminster @ 1 is starting a new ‘Christianity Explored’ Course this coming Monday, 27th April, running for four consecutive Mondays in the same venue as the Bible study.  It is an excellent course to help you grow in sharing your faith with others, or for taking along people who want to know more about Jesus.  For more information, contact Ash at info@westminsteratone.org

“To Him who is able to keep us from falling, and present us before His glorious Presence without fault and with great joy – to the only God our Saviour be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forever more. Amen!”  Jude 24-25

Richest Blessings

River Church, Montana come to pray at New Scotland Yard

River Church in Montana, members of Prayer for Parliament and the Prayer Foundation came to New Scotland Yard to pray.Prayer for Parliament at the Yard

They were hosted by Kate Henry, a member of our leadership team, and Ambassador for NSY. What followed was an incredible time of prayer and prophecy.

Read the full Prophecy from by Matt and Lisa Weaver here:

The one enthroned in heaven roars!

Gods Breath over LondonHe roars over London dis-spelling the fog of witchcraft confusion resulting in moral chaos, relational mayhem, and financial dis-orientation. London, For centuries you have oriented your commerce and provision and protection to gog and magog. But the Lord is your everlasting light. It is He who brings the wealth of the seas to you (Is 60).  For the Lord has said, “The silver is mine and the gold is mine.” Look to the Lord, London. He is your source. All wealth is at His disposal. And He will yet redeem the commerce and wealth of London for the glory of His name, for restoration of His people, for the building of His kingdom, and for the healing of your land.

As in the days of Samuel, when the Philistines took captive the Ark of the Covenant and placed it in the temple of the idol Dagon, the presence of the Lord went out from the Ark of the Covenant and overnight, the idol of Dagon fell on its face on the ground before the Ark of the Covenant, before the presence of our God. Every time they tried to prop him up, the idol would fall on its face before the presence of the Lord. (1 Sam 5) So shall it be again. As the people of God rise up in covenant with Him and with each other—(His Body)–the Presence of the Lord will arise in their midst and true worship will topple long-established strongholds. We call forth those who will walk in covenantal relationship with God and with each other (His Body), true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth, unabashedly, with abandon and with great boldness.

The Lord is raising up a people who will walk in covenant relationship as never before. The Lord says, “Now is where the rubber meets the road. Now you step onto the battlefield to engage the war I have already won, where talk about Kingdom must be tested in the fire and emerge as meaningful relationship. Here on this battlefield is where many get scared. Many will shrink back—right before breakthrough into something more powerful and meaningful than they have ever known, while others rise up and lay hold of what I have already secured through the cross. Here is where people set a course for intentional connection or intentional disconnection. For covenant or division. For maturity, sacrifice and influence or immaturity, self-protection and comfort.

“I am removing churchyard fences. Fences built through offences. I am calling the church to leave the building and become the building. When that happens, many who have felt shut out will rush in. Those who have been sold into slavery by the church– “sold” on the idea that the only place they fit is in the realm of darkness–they will be set free. Those who have been shut out will now find their place of belonging in covenant worship and join the ranks of the righteous warriors who only fear the living God, whose warfare is love and whose war cry is worship.

As in the days of Haggai, “many have said, now is not the time to build the house of the Lord.” But the Lord has said, The time is NOW! “ Now is the time of the Lord’s favor. Now is the day of salvation.” (2 Cor 6:2) To those who have planted much but harvested little, this is what the Lord Almighty says, “Give careful thought to your ways and build my house so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the Lord. Then the people will fear the Lord and obey the voice of the Lord their God, and go to work. “For I am with you,” declares the Lord Almighty. “My Spirit remains among you. Do not fear. For in a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations and the Desired of All Nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,” says the Lord Almighty. “The silver is mine and the gold is mine,” declares the Lord Almighty.” The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,” says the Lord Almighty. “And in this place I will grant shalom/peace,” declares the Lord Almighty…. “Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. But from this day on I will bless you, Church. A new glory is about to fall on St Paul’s Cathedral and many will go forth in the spirit of St Paul to release the glory of God to the ends of the earth.

The Lord is looking for those who walk in the spirit of Zerubbabel of whom the Lord said, “I will make you like my signet ring for I have chosen you, declares the Lord Almighty.” For they bear the impress of My character on their hearts. Just as Zerubbabel was in the lineage of King David and a direct ancestor of Jesus, my Zerubbabels who will build the house of God are spiritual and governmental leaders who are of David’s house-(–of David’s Tent!) I will raise them up in the church and I will raise them up in Parliament. I will give you a new Parliament in the manner of William Wilberforce, I will resurrect Parliament into new life and will give you a government after my own heart.

The Lord is asking, “where are my Zerubbabels? I am  looking for Zerubbabels”–Godly leaders who will hear and obey the word of the Lord to build the house of the Lord. They will build with gold, silver and precious stones that have been tested and purified in the fire and set on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ. (1Cor3) For our God is a consuming fire ( Heb 12:29) and He refines the hearts of men and purifies them of idolatry and unrighteousness (Mal 3:3) He redeems us from the empty ways of life handed down to us from our forefathers with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, the lamb without blemish or defect. (1 Pet1:18,19)

******

We call forth those who will cleanse the house of God, displacing idolatry with true worship. We call forth those who will teach the people the difference between the holy and the profane/empty/meaningless. Then the presence of the Lord God will go out from the Ark of Covenant and overpower the presence of demon powers and topple demonic strongholds. Then the glory of the Lord will fill the temple of the Lord!  (Ezekial 444) “Be strong oh people of the land,” declares the Lord. “I AM with you.”

We access the wells of revival that are waiting to be tapped.  We access the well of George Whitfield and the wells of John Wesley and we call forth heart holiness.  We access the well of Charlse Wesley and call forth heaven’s sounds that reveal the goodness of God and shift atmospheres and transform cultures. We access the wells of Salvation Army and call forth the righteous end-time army to go forth and heal people, cities and nations. We access the wells of Smith Wigglesworth and call forth revival of healing miracles, resurrections, signs and wonders. We access the wells of William Wilberforce and declare freedom to the captives. We call forth those who have been sold into slavery into His Kingdom of Light! We call forth divine appointments. We call forth prophetic creativity—songs and words and artwork, that will heal hearts and transform lives.

We stir up the spirit of Zerubbabel, those who will rebuild the house of the Lord. We call forth the living stones who have been tested in the fire and are being built into a spiritual house through meaningful relationship. These are the chosen people, the royal priesthood, the holy nation, a people belonging to God, that they may declare the praises of Him who called them out of darkness into His wonderful light. (1 Pet 2)

Arise, shine, London, for your light has come and glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples and but the Lord arises upon YOU and His glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your dawn. (Is 60) Fear the Lord and turn your face toward Him. Then will the Lord be gracious to you and will come and heal your land. “Then I will bring health and healing to them,” says the Lord. “I will cleanse them of all their sin and forgive them of all their rebellion against me. Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on the earth that hear of all the good things I do for it. And they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it,” declares the Lord. (Jer 33)

How long O Lord?

Hi Everyone

I was reading this in Alpha’s ‘Bible in One Year’ www.bibleinoneyear.org/ this morning (only a few months behind!) and thought that it was relevant to many of us as we face uncertain days ahead.  I especially loved Nicky Gumbel’s comments on how we can hold fast in times of uncertainly, still declaring ‘GOD IS GOOD!’.
Psalm 13
For the director of music. A psalm of David.

1 How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

3 Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
4 and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him, ”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.

Nicky writes:
“There are periods when it appears that God has forgotten us (v.1a). It seems that he has hidden his face (v.1b). For some inexplicable reason we don’t sense his presence with us. Every day seems to be a struggle – wrestling with our thoughts (v.2a). Every day seems to bring sorrow (v.2b). We seem to be losing the battle and the enemy seems to be triumphing over us (v.2c).
In the middle of this dark night David continues to cry out to God, ‘Look on me and answer, O Lord my God. Give light to my eyes’ (v.3). We see four things that we should continue to do during the ‘dark night of the soul’:
Keep praying
In this psalm he pours out his heart to God. It is so important not to give up praying even when God seems far away.
Keep trusting
‘But I trust in your unfailing love’ (v.5a). ‘I’ve thrown myself headlong into your arms’ (v.5a, MSG). It is relatively easy to have faith when things are going well, but the test of faith is when things do not appear to be going well.
Keep rejoicing
He does not rejoice in the trials, but in God’s salvation. He says, ‘my heart rejoices in your salvation’ (v.5b). ‘I’m celebrating your rescue’ (v.5b, MSG).
Keep worshipping
‘I will sing to the Lord’ (v.6a). He remembers all that God has done for him. As we begin to praise and worship God, it brings perspective to our problems. Sometimes, I find it helpful to look back on my life and thank the Lord for bringing me through so many of my own personal struggles, disappointments, and bereavements, and to remember how through it all ‘he has been good to me’ (v.6).”
Be inspired and encouraged by the truth that God loves you and will never let go of you.  He has a plan and purpose for your life that may not always make sense to you, but will give you a sure hope and a future in Him.
Every blessing

Christian Police Meeting NSY Thursday 9th April

Hi Everyone

We will be meeting in the Ground Floor Press Briefing Room tomorrow, Thursday 9th April, from 1 – 2 pm.

Last week we watched a DVD about Jesus’ death and all the Old Testament prophecies that described in detail what He experienced in the hours preceding and during His crucifixion.  There are no coincidences in the Bible!

We have a little bit more of the DVD to watch, and whether you were there last week or not, it will be thought-provoking and inspiring.  We’ll also spend some time catching up with each other and praying for one another, for the Met, and beyond.

Do join us if you are able to – it is refreshing and encouraging to meet with others who share a love for our awesome Saviour, Jesus!
“This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.”  John 15:12

This is our God, the Servant King.  He calls us now to follow Him;
To give our lives as a daily offering of worship to the Servant King.
                                                                Graham Kendrick

Every blessing
