Please join us in prayer for all affected by the Terrorist attack in Manchester
Please pray for

- The families and friends of all who have lost loved ones
- All who are injured.
- The government as they react and respond to what has happened
“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea; …Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven” Matthew 18:6&10
We at LPCF ask you to join us as we pray for the confirmed 22 people killed in this incident in Manchester, England. We now know many were children and many of the 59 critically ill, are also children. This is abhorrent whoever the victims are but even more so, for children. We ask God to take their souls into His Paradise as they rest in peace.
We ask you to pray for the people who are still missing & families and friends who are still searching for their loved ones. Please pray as though it were your own child, please. As a parent myself, this tears at the fabric of our hearts.
We ask you to please pray for all the victim’s families & their friends. Those who need support because they are not in Manchester with their families right now.
Please pray for those traumatised by what they witnessed, heard, saw and felt, including the bravery of Greater Manchester Police; every police officer, emergency staff: fire, ambulance doctors & nurses. We pray & give God thanks for them & for the kindness of the people of Manchester who assisted those involved last night. Homes were opened up to strangers, people comforted one another on the streets despite being strangers, taxis were offered to help people get to places of safety, kindness and love was given in the face of adversity. It wins every time in the face of fear. The ‘Good Samaritan’ heart of the people of Manchester, shone through during the pandemonium and distresss & continues to do so.
Please pray for calm and peace at this time in the wake of this incident & at a time when terror wants to rob us peace of mind. Do not let malice and hatred take any root in our hearts towards those responsible for this incident. Do not let anger eat into the place where love must be because there will be no healing there. We ask you Lord, to fill us to overflowing with Your love & mercy, even when we feel it is ‘impossible’, to do so because of the horrors witnessed and suffered to the victims last night. Please send your angels to encamp around us against the evil that is ensuing. This is not done in Your name and it is not Your will. Vengeance is Yours only Lord, not ours; You will repay to those who have done this great and cruel wickedness, especially to children. Help us to have a heart of compassion.
Please pray for the British Government having to deal with this enormous task ahead, that they will make wise decisions & let us pray for one another, in the days and months to come.
If any police officer, emergency staff , anyone you know or indeed yourself, are affected by this and need pray, please contact us here at LCPF, we are praying for you. We need you Jesus more than ever. You have told us “when we see these things, to look up, our redemption draws near” be with us and most especially, those victims hurting so deeply, the trauma they are experiencing and the great loss. Please comfort them by Your presence & with Your love. We have all been affected by this great injustice, moreso the victims. Lord send Your peace, in Jesus name we pray.
“The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee” Psalms 9:9 KJV
God bless you, Samantha ?
