As I write this Prayer Letter, I am so pleased to know that some of you are away on holiday. I am so thrilled for you. Prayers that this rest is richly rewarding you and those with you.
Yesterday I prayed for a Thanksgiving Service for a young Mum who had died from Cancer and had left two very young children and their dad behind.
Such an emotional Service. Loads of Zooming going on from various parts of the world, as people unable to be with us gave obituaries and the Service itself being sent out too.
Later in the evening I again recalled a true story, where a very young boy, attended a Concert with his parents; a very well-known pianist was going to play. The little boy managed to extract himself from his parents and found his way to the stage. He sat on the piano stool and started to play “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”. His parents who had not realised he was missing were horrified. But at that moment the famous Soloist came onto the stage, placed his hands either side of the little boy’s, started to add all manner of harmonies at the same time whispering to him, “Keep playing”. As a result, the most wonderful music was heard by the audience.
A lot of people were Praying for me yesterday as I played the Grand Piano in our Church, knowing the emotional trauma for all concerned and how important it was for me to support everyone in how I played.
We give our gifting, which He in turn has given us – and He then enhances it by being there with us, beyond our imagination. Praise The Lord.
No matter where you find yourself today. He is there too. Hallelujah.
“He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we think or ask”. Eph 3.20.
Walk in Him and Under His Covering.
