Verse Of The Day?FAITH:Written by Mrs Althea Marshall:2018-Sharing the❤️of God wherever we go

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”         II Corinthians 5:7

“Can we see what is ahead? NO. Can we handle the situation coming our way? Are we equipped to deal with each day & what it may hold for us? YES if we are walking in faith. Faith tells us that problems come & situations arise that seem out of our control. However, if we put God at the forefront of our thinking & decision making, asking Him to lead us & guide our every step, we can be sure that He will equip us with the tools for everyday life. Walking by faith means to trust God, know that He is in control of every outcome, He is the author of our lives, He is The Potter. We are merely pieces of clay in His hands. He made us, He knows our limits. Even when we think we can’t do anymore, He is there to remind us, Yes You Can! He will not give up on you unless you give up on Him. Please, hang on to the Lord. Read His Word. Day & night meditate on it.”

The above encouragement was written & contributed by Mrs Althea Marshall as I mentioned above in the title. We here at LCPF have been praying for Althea & her newborn baby girl who was gravely ill in the womb, not only at birth & the Doctors prepared Althea & her husband for the worse outcome but she chose to believe God and they told no one of what they were facing. Today, baby is alive & daily making more than ‘jaw-dropping’ progress, even Doctors cannot explain how. She is a miracle & medical staff are calling her this. This is showing us all, that God is Our Healer & He does answer our prayers, praise be to God. Baby is growing from strength to strength & Althea wanted to give back by encouraging all reading this message, with the word above & her testimony. She stated, “we must hold onto our faith in God no matter how small, or what your situation maybe – even, as she stated, you think you cannot do it any more”. Please share this message with those in your community, you may know someone who has a sick family member or you work in a hospital & see family members, visitors or parents who may need encouraging. Maybe it’s a problem in your job, finances or within your family. Maybe you are at the place where ‘you just can’t cope’, please hold on. Faith is believing even when you do not see it. The Bible states in Hebrews 11:1”Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Indeed, it is believing before you see it. It’s hoping for it -as Althea had prayed, for the substance which ‘is’ healing – the best outcome. She asked God to prove ‘HE IS’ in the safe deliverance of her baby & her family because this affected & included, them all. She waited by faith “even when I was scared” she told me “I had no choice but to trust God because I believed He would make a way. I didn’t know how but isn’t faith trusting He will?” Yes it is simply this, yet we doubt more than trust & have faith in God & we must redress this imbalance.

Thank you Althea, this is a much needed encouragement today. Please share this message with others. Share it in your workplaces, with your colleagues or bosses; with your families, maybe when you are at the bus stop, or with someone you meet on the train or in the supermarket- yes a stranger, they may need this message at ‘that moment’ more than you realise but it will be “just on time” & not by chance or accident because God does not make mistakes. He is a Spirit, Omnipresent, Faith God, not a “lucky chance, genie” God. Everything is in His hands.

Thank you for reading this message. If we at LCPF can help you in anyway, practical, emotional or spiritual help; if you need prayer or would like us to pray on behalf of someone you know, please contact us via our email, Twitter @ChristianPolice, Instagram, Pinterest, Google + or on Facebook. Be encouraged today, have faith in God & may He richly bless you & your household, in His marvellous name, amen.

About Samantha Alexander

I am a born again Christian and I attend The Refuge Church of The Living God, St. Mary's, Clissold Park, North London. I come from an extremely large Christian family, being one of 8 children,'sibling' to many foster children & I'm married to a gorgeous serving Officer. We share two wonderful, at times a handful?, extremely talented & sporty children. We are blessed by the laughter & joy they bring us. My role in the Met is within the Specialist Crime Directorate and I have been a Forensic Practitioner for the past 15years. I have overcome much adversity with my health & had it not been for Gods hand upon me, my faith & good support from my family & really beautiful colleagues, I would have given up long ago.
God has positioned me here for such a time as this & He has now opened this wonderful door to London Christian Police Family.
I love to laugh & encourage people around me & my joy definitely springs up when we can smile through our storms. May God ever bless you, Samantha?
