Prayer Letter 5th Oct 2018

Hello Everyone,

I trust you are well.

Thank you for the encouragement following last week’s Prayer Letter.

Two requests for Prayer.

  • Paul, an Officer in Sussex continues to recover from his final session of Chemotherapy.

He is due to take a holiday very shortly. He is, because of his illness unable to obtain Insurance; please Pray that he will stay well whilst away. At the end of the month he has further health checks. It would be so good to see a distinct improvement in his condition.

  • People who want to be Specials in Surrey Police, are undertaking training at the moment. They are working fulltime in their “Day” job. They then arrive for full on training. Prayer is requested that concentration stays with them during this time. Also, that they do not become overtired.

After Jesus died, His Body was taken to the Garden Tomb. Mary came. Everything had changed in her life. The Miracle Worker had been crucified and now, someone had taken His Body. Everything had fallen apart in her world. She stopped to speak to a man she assumed to be the gardener. She asked him where he had taken the body. At that moment the “gardener” said “Mary”. She immediately recognised Him as her Lord and Saviour. John 20. 15-16.

There are times when our whole world seems to have fallen to pieces. Be assured Jesus is there calling your name, wanting you to explain why you are where you are. He will listen.

May you this week find Peace in knowing He knows you by name and listens to you.

Many Blessings

In His Name

Alice.
