Zechariah 2:8 KJV
”For thus saith the Lord of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.”
Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ our soon coming King! As our children begin a new chapter or return to Nursery, School, 6th Form, College, Apprenticeships or University this week, some later in the month, I encourage you to pray over them and when you pray, if it is physically possible, to lays your hands upon them, symbolically covering them under The Blood of The Lamb & under the anointing of His Holy Spirit.
Pray for The Light of God to always guide them, give them good health, filling them with His wisdom, knowledge & understanding & His obedience. That they will operate in Gods joy & strength & that He will remove fear in whatever form it tries to take in our children – & in us- because fear is not of God. Be bolder & say The Word of God out loud “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” encourage them to do the same so it is rooted in them so that they reject fear. Remind them of how precious THEY are & that they are “the Apple of Gods eye“ as Zechariah tells us & Gods Protection, favour & promise is upon them. Implore them to respect always & be in obedience to, those who have the authority over them in their places of education & work and do not follow the wrong example or be leaders in mischief. Tell them to believe that they can achieve & “do ALL things through Christ’s strength”.
We are told in the Book of Ephesians ch6; that “we wrestle not with flesh & blood..”, though it may appear this way to the natural eye but we wrestle against “principalities & powers, rulers of darkness & spiritual wickedness in higher places” than we really recognise & know. The dark forces which come against us, come in varying forms against our children & families & they are sent on assignment by the enemy to attack us so our children & homes need to be covered for the year ahead.
Please also pray for the Headteachers & the demanding & heavy workloads faced by them & their Teachers. Pray for the Teaching Assistants, Mentors for the difficult tasks they face on a daily basis & pray also for the Administration teams, the finances needed to make these establishment fully viable, Lunch time staff & the Cleaners – everyone in the education establishment or facility where our child/young people attends & who help to make that environment conducive because they deserve our prayers & our thanks. Cover their educational premises from harm & danger, fire, acts of terror or spiritual mischief & pray for the Angel of The Lord to encamp around each & every area of the building & over our children and those who teach & have pastoral care over them whilst they are there.
God richly bless you all in Jesus mighty name & may He grant us His strength and courage, as we face this new academic year ahead spiritually, physically, emotionally financially & psychologically & that we operate under His guidance & not our own remember always that
Psalm 46:1”God is our refuge and strength, a very present help call in Him always??
Please pray for LCPF‘s Annual Celebration of Christianity on the 23rd October 2018, where we are joining with all the Emergency Services in thanksgiving to God, with music by Hillsong Uk & preaching by Canon J.John will be speaking to us, amongst many other wonderful delights on the night, all to the glory of God. Pray that Gods favour will be upon the event all along the way, so that the night will be a complete success & bring in harvest for The Kingdom of God in Jesus name, amen.
God bless you & your household
