Prayer Letter 15th June 2018

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for the responses to last week’s Prayer Letter.

  • A request that we Pray for a family. Grandma is part of the Police Family. Her husband has been ill for many a long day and continues to deteriorate. They have a Daughter who has been rushed into hospital with severe chest pains and she in turn has a very young child who of course is naturally concerned about her Mum.
  • Continued Prayer for all in The Police, extra hours being worked; rest days taken away and a lot of tiredness as a result; which leads to other problems.

Last Saturday, I attended an Awards’ Event for Volunteers in Surrey Police. A very enjoyable occasion. ACC Nev Kemp was presenting the Awards.
He in turn had received an Award that very day from the Queen. It was announced in the Honours’ List that he had been given the Queen’s Police Medal. I spoke to him about this happening. He was very thrilled, but humbled to think that he had been recognised in this way. He awaits the visit to the Palace. Again “Congratulations Sir”.
It was later in the day, I thought about these Awards that we were receiving and my mind went to the Award that is waiting for us as God’s Children.

“There is an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in Heaven for me, being a Child of God”. 1Peter 1. 4.

As you continue to strive here in this life, be encouraged about your Eternal Reward.

The Lord Bless you and keep you, may His Face shine upon you and give you His Peace.
Alice.
