Verse Of The Day?:2018-Sharing the❤️of God wherever we go

Genesis 21:17 KJV

“And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.”

The God of Abraham Issac & Jacob, our Fore-Fathers, is the same God today. He is Alpha & Omega, He is The Beginning & The End. God hears. Not only does He hear us especially in our time of trouble, He responds. This verse shows Hagar who had been put out of the camp with her baby Ishmael & she was in the wilderness about to die for their food and water had finished. She put the baby under a tree because she didn’t want to see him die of thirst & as she wept The Angel of God Himself, appeared to her & told her not to be afraid, anxious worried, distressed- because not only had he heard her, he heard the determined, hungry & thirsty cry of her baby Ishmael. God provided a well, springing up in the dry land of the desert & she filled her bottle. That bottle was filled with The Living Water did not run dry- what a mighty God! He is a good Father & we are so passionately loved by Him.

Today, know that God loves you. He woke me with this verse & I am reminded immediately, that He not only hears me but He sees me too. Hagar’s eyes were opened by The true & Living God so she could see the well in that wilderness, in the midst of the barrenness of her situation. Today, let God spring forth a well of joy & peace, a well of deliverance, in our lives & in whatever is before us. Hagar a slave, previously fled the camp when she was despised by Sarah her master & The Angel of The Lord met her & told her good news, she was with child & he would be called Ishmael. The Lord also said He would make the child great among his people because He had heard Hagars cries but first she had to go back and face her issues & humble herself before Sarah her slave master but The Lord reminded her she was delivered & she was blessed. Hagar did not tell God, “No Lord, I’m not doing it, look what Sarah has being doing to me” she was obedient & rejoiced but before she returned  she made an altar of thanksgiving & she named it Beerlahairoi, “The Well of the Living God Who Sees Me.” It is still in the area of Kadesh Bered today & is known famously of where The Lord encouraged & delivered Hagar.

Give God all the glory & His due praise, do not look to idols, material things, magic or even man, to be delivered. They cannot help us. Let us look to & put our trust & praises in God before the victory, before our deliverance, for what He promised us, that will He do, He is always with us. He is listening to even our groanings, Isaiah said His “Word can not return void”. Our God is a God of action. Thank you Jesus for speaking & confirming You hear us#Share this verse with all you meet today, someone’s  wilderness will be watered by The Living God, in Jesus name

God ever bless you,

Samantha ?

About Samantha Alexander

I am a born again Christian and I attend The Refuge Church of The Living God, St. Mary's, Clissold Park, North London. I come from an extremely large Christian family, being one of 8 children,'sibling' to many foster children & I'm married to a gorgeous serving Officer. We share two wonderful, at times a handful?, extremely talented & sporty children. We are blessed by the laughter & joy they bring us. My role in the Met is within the Specialist Crime Directorate and I have been a Forensic Practitioner for the past 15years. I have overcome much adversity with my health & had it not been for Gods hand upon me, my faith & good support from my family & really beautiful colleagues, I would have given up long ago.
God has positioned me here for such a time as this & He has now opened this wonderful door to London Christian Police Family.
I love to laugh & encourage people around me & my joy definitely springs up when we can smile through our storms. May God ever bless you, Samantha?
