Prayer Letter 26th January 2018

Hello Everyone,

I appreciate the comeback from last week’s PL.

  • I have received over a number of weeks, requests for Prayer for relatives and friends of Officers and Staff, who are in great need. Bereavement, serious illness and major surgery. Please join me in Prayer for those who are suffering and those who are caring.

I am going to share a personal story with you this week.

I work on Reception in my Church. Last week, a large delivery van arrived, Parcels were brought through the door. The driver asked me for my name so that he could book this into his handheld delivery device. As I gave my name, he said, “Do you live in Woking?” “Yes”. “What part?” Following that information, he asked me “Are you expecting a parcel today?” “Yes, I am”. “I’ve got it on board, I will collect it for you”. A few people were in the area of the Foyer as this conversation took place and like me became more and more interested in the line of his questioning. As he returned with a parcel in his hand, I gave him my home address and yes, it was my parcel. Everyone was astounded. Amongst all the parcels that he had handled that day, he had seen my name and remembered it. As I continued to think on this happening, I was reminded of the verse in Is: 49 16. “Your name is written on the Palms of My Hands”.
How much more is our God able to recall who we are. Be encouraged!

Go, knowing that God knows you by name.

In Him
