“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16 KJV
Do you know you are loved by God? True. Real. Unconditional. Infinite & measureless love. You are loved. So much so, that God thought about the love He has for you before the world began. He “prayed for you before the foundation of the world”. He “engraved you in the palms of His hand” never to be removed. God knows everything about us, we “cannot go away from His presence”. We are “..fearfully & wonderfully made, marvellous are Thy works..” Psalms 139:14 KJV Isn’t this amazing? However, if you don’t know this how then, can you share Gods love?
This world is marred with continual acts of hatred & injustice. Putrid acts. Love, it seems, has taken a back seat. In fact, the world often than not, looks devoid of love but do not believe the cloak the enemy tries to place over the windows of our eyes. God loves you. He loves us. God loves the world. The vilest of sinners, yet He still loves us. Broken & He still loves us. In prison, He still loves us. Living with secret guilt- yes, He still loves us. Even the condition you may be in, whether it’s poverty or homelessness, famine or war God loves you & you will receive a special reward because “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy“ Psalms 126:5 KJV Don’t believe that the ‘place’ or ‘circumstances’ you may now find yourself in is because God does not love you.
God loves us enough that He came, died for us & left us the most precious gift known to mankind. The gift of eternal life to those who believe. And even in these moments of unbelief, He still loves us! Once you “taste of His goodness” the power & enlightenment of His love will envelop you. Oh what passion His agape love holds us in, it is so tangible. God does not switch His love off & on like we do- remember, His agape love “the love of God for man and of man for God” is infinite. We need to know this because this then moves us to love others. Our enemies. Our neighbours. Our families, The person, people or system which oppressed you. The stranger. The Bible tells us emphatically that “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” Galatians 5:22 KJV & 1Corinthians 13:13 writes “…The greatest of these is LOVE (charity)”
In 2017 the world experienced disaster after disaster and we saw the heart of man grow colder, as astrocities against humanity worsened daily. The Words of prophecy in the Bible are coming to the fore as the seals in the Book of Revelation are broken. But through this all, Gods message to us is the same, I LOVE YOU. Where then, is the love shown to our fellow brother? Who is taking responsibility for their actions when we wrong each other? Who is willing to stand down & be wrong to be right? Who is willing to take a risk & share Gods love. Who is willing to be a peacemaker. Who is willing to give up on the ‘old life’ & step into something new– tasting of the pure love of God, His mercy & grace? Will you forgive as you have been forgiven? In order for their to be change in this world, it needs to start now with you & I.
Yesterday saw of the end of the first week of 2018 & today the beginning of new mercies & grace from God. We at LPCF ask you to “be your brother & sisters’ keeper” going forward, each day, until we see breakthroughs. Evil can never overcome love no matter how torrid & ugly the world appears to be because love is of God & He is almighty. From today, will you extend love to someone in need? It may not be an obvious one but will you take ownership of enquring? I will too. Will you extend your hand of fellowship & friendship to those in our hurting world? I will too. Our communities are dying because of hate. Our families are breaking down because of unforgiveness, strangers remain so because of “business”. Anger has taken over joy. Confusion over Peace. Fear over liberty. The rich love of God is not being shared amongst us. The change start with us. Will u stand up & being counted as one who sought to sow the seed of love, nurturing & watering through Jesus until the boughs reach over and touch others, letting them know they are not forgotten God knows their names? Let them know that they are loved. We are salt & light & we have much work to do; “He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him” Psalms 126:6 KJV
Will you be accountable today? Will you make it your purpose to share Gods love in any way you can? There is no price to pay because Jesus already paid it all. Each of us have a role to play in sharing His pure, unadulterated love through us. We have to live it, in order for change to come. Will you be bold today & tell someone Jesus loves them & how precious they are to Him? Let us give someone kindness through the love & light of God in us. Let us actually go above & beyond to share this message & by our actions because this is what God has ordained us to do. Not only to speak love but to show HIS love, even in the face of grave adversity. Will you take this simple but ever-effective message of the Divine love of God into your workplaces, Schools, colleges, university at the bus stop even & share because someone is in need right now, indeed, our world needs healing by Gods love. Your words & actions about His love, your kindness through Him in you, could return a run away home today, encourage someone to seek help, lift the burden from your colleagues shoulders, tell of the tenderness of His touch to help a lonely person feel loved. Your loving words can heal.
We at LPCF are praying for you and we ask you to pray for us, as we all step out in & by faith this 2018 to do this great work in Jesus name because the power of His love changes lives forever, never forgetting to show Jesus that we love Him too by our actions. God richly bless you,
Samantha ?❤️
