Prayer Letter 10th November 2017

Hello Everyone,

I trust you are well.

Today I have the great privilege of playing for the Remembrance Service at Surrey Police HQ’s, a special time remembering.

This week we have seen “Pride of Britain” on TV. I would like to focus on two people who receive this Prayer Letter, so that we can give and show them honour as well.

First-

“You will be aware that Sussex has for some time received the PL. This month the Leader of their Christian Association, Ins: Jon Brydon is leaving on a secondment after 29 years in Sussex Police.
On behalf of all of us – Surrey, Sussex and The Met Christian Police Family, I want to wish you every Blessing in your future Jon and send many heartfelt thanks for being there, leading the Sussex Group”.

And

PCSO Colin Gibbons in Surrey Police, has been nominated for a Hero Award by BBC Local Radio in the 999 Section, for his work. Action he has carried out in his locality has now taken place across Surrey and is being put forward for National coverage. Many Congratulations Colin.
Colin says – “I do my job because I love it and want to help all walks of life in the community. I feel really blessed and privileged to be serving God in this way and support the most vulnerable in the world. I always remember each day that I am not doing this under my own strength but have God by my side helping/guiding me”.

With the above in mind, I have the Chorus in my head, “Make me a Channel of Your Peace” (Sebastian Temple) and especially the phrase – “Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope”.

Again, to all of you, “Thank You”. I so appreciate you in who you are and what you do for your Communities.

In Him. Alice.
