Prayer Letter 27th Oct 2017

Hello Everyone,

Very many thanks for the response to last week’s Prayer Letter. Within hours of the PL being sent; I received further requests for Prayers for families of Officers who are experiencing great sadness. Prayers in particular for discernment and wisdom in supporting their families.

It has been pointed out on social media this week the comparison between the weight of criticism of the Police and the lack of weight of appreciation to the outcome in Nuneaton.
Wearing both my hats – CPA and Chaplaincy, I again say a massive “Thank You” as you continue your work in such a negative environment.

The verse that has sat with me for a few days is possibly one of the most well known in the Bible. “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want”. Ps: 23.1. The verses go on to say there is quietness and peace available as we look to our Shepherd.
I am speaking to myself here; take a few moments out in the middle of your busy day and allow the Lord to minister to you. He knows where the hurt lies and the parts that need His Oil.
For those of you who use Police Vehicles, I know there are rules laid down about these cars etc. so that you can trust them as you speed along the roads. We are speeding along in our everyday lives and we also need attention. Often, we come last on the priority list, even if we are on that list.

My Prayers are with you this week as you “rest” in Him, knowing He is everything you need.

Please feel free to contact me at any time by adding a comment below

Many Blessing in Him
Alice.
