Hello Everyone,
I trust you are well.
Very many thanks for the responses I received following last week’s Prayer Letter.
- I have received a number of requests for Prayer for Officers, family and friends who are far from well. Also difficult complications in their lives. Please join me in Prayer for these people.
Amongst the replies last week came –
“What an amazing privilege we have to call our creator and author of life, our Father!
How apt also at that particular moment for you at the Celebration Service for the Police in London last Tuesday, should He be wanting to remind us that His strength is our strength, and if we put our hope in Him, we have no need to fear our own human weakness.
Thank you for your testimony, which has given me hope and strength to face a new day, and a new week.”
So I am repeating the verses I read at the Celebration last week in London with the Christian Police Family.
Isaiah 40. 28 – 31
Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall.
But those who hope in the Lord, will renew their strength, they will rise up on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.
May you, like the Officer whom I quoted above, receive “Hope and Strength to face a new day and a new week“.
