Prayer Letter 15th Sept 2017

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for the replies received following last week’s PL.

Immediately into Prayer needs.

  • Force Members and families who are far from well.
  • Officers and Staff suffering from stress and trauma.
  • A family who has lost a friend due to suicide.
  • Difficulties caused by family bereavement.
  • Extra work being undertaken due to people being away.
  • Nine Officers from Sussex and Surrey working in the British Virgin Islands.
  • Chief of Police Trevor Botting, Turks and Caicos Islands, formerly in Sussex Police, his Colleagues and other Emergency Services.
  • Memorial Service taking place at HQ’s on Saturday 16th September.

Monday the 18th of December 2017 8pm at St Saviours Church, Guildford:

All 999 service colleagues, their families and friends are invited to come along to the Surrey Emergency Services Christmas Carols.
Officers, Staff, Street Angels, Chaplaincy Teams, Volunteers and Retired Staff are all warmly welcome!
Globally acclaimed performer Jonathan Veira will lead the music and there will be complimentary tea, coffee and mince pies.

The event is free and any proceeds go to the Chief’s 2017 Charity the UK Police Memorial Trust.

I believe it is right to repeat the verse used last week; because of the replies I received.

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your Sight Oh Lord”. Psalm 19.14.

I attended a Diversity Day with Surrey Police, this week. During that time one of the points that came over was how we relate when talking with people. We were encouraged to build people up by what we say. This verse does not only apply within Christian circles, but within our everyday speech and attitude.
“Please Lord, make me a Blessing to people around me; as I chat and discuss both within work and in my social times”.

Please feel free to contact me at any time by adding a comment below or by clicking here

Many Blessings in His Name.
Alice.
