When disaster strikes, dealing with the shock of it is half the battle. In the middle of the night, whilst the country slept, Freetown in Sierra Leone, was hit by heavy flooding & mudslides after a deluge of immense rain & caused mass destruction & loss of lives. The death toll sadly, is approximately 350 & rising. A large number of the dead are children. May they all rest in peace?
We never stop praying here at London Police Christian Family because we know we are part of the body of Christ & we are assured that God answers prayers,amen. We ask you to join us today & the months to come, in praying for the people of Freetown Sierra Leone. Whole villages have been washed away, today a man revealed he has lost his entire family. He still kept digging & helping look for others. What love & grace. This natural disaster requires our response in prayer, aid & support to get this message out. This is called “prayer & potatoes” in the Caribbean; faith & works. Please help us help Freetown. We are asking you to do something, however small you think it may be, it is great in the sight of God. Everything we do begins & ends in prayer, in the name of Jesus Christ & He will give the increase.
