Prayer Letter 7th June 2017

Hello everyone,

So many thanks to you for all the amazing work you do. So much not seen by the Public.

PRAISE and PRAYER

You may recall a request for Prayer for a member of staff in Surrey who was to undergo surgery, but he was more concerned about his adult special needs son – C, being unable to see his Dad. Here is an email he sent me this week.

Just come back to hundreds of e/mails. C has been good in my absence and yes further healing is required and thanks for your prayers, they are greatly appreciated.

(Yes, thank you for your Prayers, so good to see how well his son did during this time. Thank You Lord).

  • Continued Prayer please for the ongoing investigations in London overseen by our former ACC Stuart Cundy in Surrey. I continue to be in touch with him.
  • Our Children’s Leader spoke briefly last Sunday on “Identity”. As he did so, I was reminded how much we, who work inside the Police are aware of wearing our ID Badges; – the warning notices we see that we must challenge anyone who is not wearing some form of ID on Police premises.
The Leader went on to speak about our “Identity in Christ” and quoted Rom: 8. 17 “We are Children of God so we are heirs of the Father and joint heirs with the Son.” The famous chorus goes on to say, “We are family we are one”. Again, reference is often made to the Police being a family. In future when I place my ID Lanyard around my neck, I will recall that I have permission to walk inside Police premises, but I will also recall even more so, my true “Identity” in the Lord Jesus Christ.

My daily Prayers are with you in The Met, Surrey and Sussex.

May you know Your Heavenly Father in your lives this coming week as you face your tasks.

Many Blessings in His Wonderful Name
Alice.
