Today’s exhortation – biblical healing from demonic oppression

Until a few years ago, without fail I would receive huge parking fines every January and I couldn’t get why it was always January and not any other month. I also know a family who always had their car stolen, vandalised or crashed into. It didn’t matter how careful they were it happened. Again after having the pleasure of going on the inner healing course, it became apparent why this was happening. It was demonic oppression! Since praying to bind the demons responsible and breaking the demonic oppression neither of us have had that problem again. Many a wonderful and fine Christians are like my friends and I. They do not realise they can be oppressed by demons. Consequently they do nothing to stop this, leaving themselves at the mercy of the devil and guess what, he has no mercy. During the normal course of life, people not just Christians are continuously baffled by seemingly unexplained problems, failures, losses, accidents, calamities, interruptions etc. It’s only by God’s grace and mercy Satan doesn’t do worse to us.

It’s been estimated that The Lord Jesus spent over 25% of His earthly time in dealing directly with demonic oppression. That must have been pretty high on God’s agenda if He spent so much time on it. I believe God wants us to come into maturity regarding Satan and his demons. He wants us to enforce His victory over their kingdom of darkness. He wants us, like Paul to know and say, “in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭2:11‬). He wants us to know the “truth, and the truth shall make you (us) free!” This is the purpose of exploring this area of biblical healing and also, it is connected to the three areas already covered. Soul hurts; generational curses and ungodly beliefs. Have a blessed weekend.
