Today’s exhortation – fix your eyes on Jesus

At the beginning of the day, or the week, or perhaps just in the moments before a specific event or meeting etc it’s easy for us to think “Here I go again…..”  what we must all remember though is it’s “The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭31:8‬). “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬).

Let’s fix our eyes firmly on the Lord Jesus regardless of how we’re feeling or whatever situation we’ll find ourselves in because so long as our eyes are on Him, we’ll find peace and overcome any oppression from stress, fear, anxiety etc. “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭13:14‬). Hope you’re having a blessed week.
