Thoughts on Easter

Hello everyone,

Instead of a Prayer Letter this week, I believe the Lord would have us read His Word. So I have placed together a set of verses homing in on the Easter Story.

Jesus’s Disciples and Friends must have been devastated as to what happened to this Wonderful Man called Jesus, whom they had grown to love and admire as we see in the verses below. Slowly but surely they saw a Miracle take place.

As you again read these verses, live in the good of who you are In Christ Jesus this Easter Time.
Alice.

He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
By His stripes we are healed.
The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

During the meal, Jesus took and blessed the bread, broke it, and gave it to his disciples:

Take, eat.
This is my body.

Taking the cup and thanking God, he gave it to them:

Drink this, all of you.
This is my blood,
God’s new covenant poured out for many people
For the forgiveness of sins

Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?”

They all said to him, “Crucify him!”
“My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”

He is not here: for He is risen. Come; see the place where the Lord lay.

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they were saying:

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
To receive Power and Wealth and Wisdom and Strength
And Honour and Glory and Praise!”
