Today’s exhortation – enjoy today!

Today is a new day, with new blessings, fresh opportunities and a chance at a new beginning. We’ve never seen this day before and we will never see it again after its gone so let’s make the most of it. We don’t know what tomorrow might bring so whatever needs doing today should be done today. Remember, Procrastination is the thief of time! Let’s enjoy today because many people may have longed to see it but haven’t. We’re blessed to be alive today even if we are going through so much at the moment, so long as we are alive and breathing, it means God isn’t done with us yet! There’s always hope! As we go about our business today, let’s enjoy it and thank God because it is a gift.

King Solomon the wisest man to have ever lived after his reflection that ‘there is a time for everything,’ finished it off by saying, “So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labour, for these are gifts from God.”
‭‭(Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:12-13‬). He also said, “So I decided there is nothing better than to enjoy food and drink and to find satisfaction in work. Then I realized that these pleasures are from the hand of God. For who can eat or enjoy anything apart from him?” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭2:24-25‬). Enjoy today and have a blessed end to the week.
