Today’s exhortation – Presence of God
O God I pray that Your Presence goes with us wherever we go today. We need You O God because apart from You we can do nothing! We acknowledge our absolute need of You today. Please do not let us go on our own or do anything in our strength. Father God we are calling upon You to be our guide today and to protect us and our families. Supply all our needs according to Your glorious riches in glory. You alone are God and besides You there’s none! You have no equal nor is there any other besides You! You alone are The Sovereign and Everlasting God O ancient of days. You are the Antecedent of Time O God. We need Your Presence because wherever You are, Your perfect love casts out fear. Wherever You are there’s peace which surpasses understanding and wherever You are there’s unspeakable joy!
O God incline Your ears to us and remember we’re the work of Your mighty hands and Your inheritance. We lift up Your word this morning which says, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” (Isaiah 43:2). We thank You because Your word never fails. “Praise be to the Lord, to God our Saviour, who daily bears our burdens. Our God is a God who saves…” (Psalm 68:19-20). Amen
