Today’s exhortation – a time of hope!

Though the state of play around the world is currently doom and gloom, I also sense hope and peace in what God will do for His children so it’s not a time to be fearful. There’s no denying the world is in turmoil. Terrorism, wars, rumours of wars, sexual promiscuity, decadence, exploitation of the poor, lack of fear of God, persecution, disregard for holiness and righteousness etc. We’re also see the righteous suffering and the wicked prospering. We see people cheat and take shortcuts and live large from their ill gotten gains and yet those who fear God and obey the law are constantly having to battle lack, hardships, injustice etc. But, in the midst of all of this mess, I believe The Lord is saying –

“Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” (Isaiah‬ ‭3:10‬). “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.” (Psalms‬ ‭37:7‬) “God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.” Hebrews‬ ‭6:10‬). Do not be weary in doing good for in due season you shall surely reap if you faint not! (Galatians 6:9). Amen
