Prayer Letter 3rd March 2017

Hello everyone,

I appreciate the comeback I received to last week’s PL, thank you.

PRAYER PLEASE

  • Today, I understand the findings of the Shoreham Air Disaster are being shared with the public. This will bring again to the surface many feelings of horror, as people recall that day and the ongoing days/weeks following that accident.
  • You will recall that a member of Surrey Police had a Baby on Christmas Day. Nine weeks later, both Mum and Baby need our Prayers. Baby has a dairy allergy and Mum is having a number of health problems which will involve surgery shortly.
  • Members of all three Forces that receive this PL, who are not well enough to attend work due to illness and stress.

A few days ago, I read on twitter about a very successful case undertaken by the NCA. I replied, “Excellent work. Well Done NCA. And then you have to get up and get on with it all over again tomorrow – Thank You!”
The General Director of the NCA Lynne Owens replied. “Thank you. Our officers, & those in Policing, don’t give up. Determined to protect the public from organized crime”.
When I am on Chaplaincy visits, I always say thank you to those I meet. “But it is our job” is sometimes the reply. Yes I realise that, but I still want again today to say a very big thank you for the work you do day in and day out. As it says in The Lord’s Word – ‘Well done, good and faithful servant!’ Matt 25.23.

In turn may you know His Faithfulness to you as you push on with your work for Surrey Police, Sussex Police and the Metropolitan Police
Please do feel free to contact me at any time by adding a comment below, or click here to email me privately.

Many Blessings.
In Him
Alice
