Today’s exhortation – delivered from all!

No matter what trouble you are in, whether self inflicted or not, one thing can be certain, God will deliver you from ‘ALL your troubles.’ ALL MEANS ALL! He may not do it the way we expect, but He most certainly will deliver us! The bible says, The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. (‭Psalm‬ ‭34‬:‭17‬). This psalm was written by someone who was qualified to make that statement. David who wrote this went through a lot of troubles in his life. Some were self inflicted and some weren’t, but God delivered him from all of them. For instance he took another man’s wife, impregnated her and killed the husband in order to cover his shame.

Subsequently, his family fell apart, some of kids wanted to kill him, one son forcefully took his sister’s virginity and brothers killed brothers. These troubles were his own doing. In other troubles, people sought to kill him because they were jealous of him. Nevertheless, God delivered him from ALL HIS TROUBLES! We may think, well that was David, but the verse says it’s for the righteous! Who’s righteous? “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans‬ ‭10:9-10‬. Amen
