Today’s exhortation – having faith
When we decide to step out in faith, we must realise that the enemy will come at us in the form of storms to sow fear and doubt in us. The enemy knows that it’s impossible for us to put our faith to work if we have doubts, unbelief and fear so that’s exactly what he brings our way when we step out. Peter saw Jesus walking on the water, called out to Him and said “Lord if it is you, tell me to come.” Jesus said “come”. Peter got out of the boat and walked on water. Then there arose a storm and when he saw the storm, he began to sink. He cried out for The Lord to save him and He did. Then The Lord said to him, “why did you doubt?”The moment we begin to release our faith, all hell will break loose against us.
But we also know that The Lord will be there to rescue us. God may sometimes allow difficult circumstances in our lives to enable us to grow in faith. We will find ourselves in situations where we’ve no other options but to trust in God. If you’re going through a difficult time, don’t be down or feel abandoned, God is right there with you, these are just a trial of your faith. Remember that the teacher is always silent during the test. Have a blessed week. Amen
