Hello everyone,
Last week, I shared a Prayer request sent in by a Grandad who used to work for Surrey Police. Here is an update.
- “Following a very complicated open heart operation on my 11 year old Grandson J; which took 6 hours, he is now home. He has spent 2 years of bouts of fatigue and pain. The Surgeon said that due to so many sections being far from right in and around his heart; this fatigue could be expected. Pulmonary artery and valve were both replaced. In another section of the heart he received donor tissue. J will now begin to build up his strength as you can imagine. I am very grateful for your Prayers, thank you and for God’s provision for J and us as a family”.
I have received a request from the LCPF in the Met for Prayer.
- For P, a young Officer, who has been caring for his Mum for nearly two years. During this time he has watched her slowly die from Cancer. Now she has gone, he is facing life without her and is preparing her Funeral. He is a Christian. “May you be aware of your Heavenly Father’s Loving Arms around you at this particularly difficult time and in the months ahead, Amen”.
Last week I wrote about the Mum of the little boy who brought his lunch with him to listen to Jesus and discovered that it was needed to feed many people. It says in Matt: 14.18 “Taking the five loaves and two fish, Jesus looked up to Heaven; He gave thanks and broke the loaves. Jesus then gave them back to the Disciples and told them to feed the people”.
At that point there were still only five loaves and two fish…………. but…….. The people were fed! The Disciples had to go out in faith believing that they were able to feed such a crowd. And they did. It was not Jesus who took the food around, it was the Disciples.
I find this such an encouraging story. What I have I give to Him and He is able to do exceedingly above all I think or ask.
I trust that in this coming week, you will at those times of feeling inadequate, offer to the Lord what you have and then see Him take over and show you what you are capable of, because of Jesus. Amen.

My daily Prayers are with you and for you.
May you know His Enabling this coming week.
In Him
Alice.
