PRAISE BREAK??Giving God Thanks;2017The Year Of Difference:Walk In The Light of Jesus Christ

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5 KJV

As a praying Family at LPCF we received a request from a young lady named Paula from the MPS who had been trying to sell her home and buy a new one and was coming against a multitude of issues and she was in much despair. He situation was desperate and urgent. One morning she messaged me and ask for a simple thing to pray for her so “that she would find a good home soon.” There were many prayer requests that day from comfort for those in bereavement, to praying for urgent help after hurricanes. Paula’s request may have seemed not as urgent to some. BUT GOD! She placed her seed of trust in Jesus, believing that He could do what others had not been able to do and He could do it well! God saw her faith in Him & the Heavens responded.

God takes what may appear insignificant and even seemingly, non-urgent & makes it His business to intervene because it is important and relevant and very much significant to Him! Why? Because you & I are the very beautiful “apple of His eye”. He is Our Father & just as any good earthly father jumps fearlessly to the defence of their child, so does Our Spiritual, Sovereign Father & oh! how much more unconditionally loving & powerful is Our Daddy’s love for us! He literally moves mountains & giants to deliver us & steps in to counsel us; speak to us; save us; heal us; provide for us; hug us; God sings over us daily. He sees beauty in us, in our brokenness, beauty in our anxiousness like ‘will I get the right home’; beauty in us when we the ugliness of what we have done or what we our facing brings us to our knees. It brings us to a place of reality. Why? because we realise we aren’t God but human & then we turn to Him & you know what, He never turns us away. Never.

Paula is rejoicing, hallelujah?? for her miracle because everything she prayed for but didn’t believe she could get in one house, within her price range, was given to her and more! God moved things in such an awesome way that even she is asking how? She, at this very moment, is preparing to pack up one house for her God-given new home, blessed home, beautiful, spacious, bright home, with gorgeous gardens & where new memories will be made but more so, where she has invited & welcomed the presence of The Lord to always dwell in thanksgiving, amen??          The anxiety of finding a home, whether it’s  selling, buying, or renting or facing homelessness- indeed being made homeless, can bring anyone to their knees because it is one of the most difficult things to do BUT GOD stepped in & answered Paula’s prayer, making “everything work together for (Paula’s ) our good, to them who love The Lord”.

What is your need, what is your prayer? Tell Jesus all about it, He loves you precious one & He will answer you. We don’t try to be God, we don’t try to be The Holy Spirit but we can do the work of God with the Holy Spirit who is dwelling in us. We can intercede and take requests to Him, He is waiting; “…bidding us all to come”; “Ask & it shall be given, seek & we will find, knock & The Door will be opened to you”; to us all, when we trust in God by faith. You may not get it how you think it should come; you may have to wait but in Jesus name, the answer will come because with God All things are possible.  Keeping praying & be blessed in all you do in Jesus name,

Samantha ?

About Samantha Alexander

I am a born again Christian and I attend The Refuge Church of The Living God, St. Mary's, Clissold Park, North London. I come from an extremely large Christian family, being one of 8 children,'sibling' to many foster children & I'm married to a gorgeous serving Officer. We share two wonderful, at times a handful?, extremely talented & sporty children. We are blessed by the laughter & joy they bring us. My role in the Met is within the Specialist Crime Directorate and I have been a Forensic Practitioner for the past 15years. I have overcome much adversity with my health & had it not been for Gods hand upon me, my faith & good support from my family & really beautiful colleagues, I would have given up long ago.
God has positioned me here for such a time as this & He has now opened this wonderful door to London Christian Police Family.
I love to laugh & encourage people around me & my joy definitely springs up when we can smile through our storms. May God ever bless you, Samantha?
