Today’s exhortation – healing from pain

Everyone is dealing with pain and some of this pain is deep rooted. Pain from grief, rejection, broken-heart, betrayal, sadness, etc all leave wounds in us that run deep. What’s also true is that we all wear masks to hide our pain. Some may do so by being angry, rude, withdrawn and jokes, but they are all masks. The good news is that The Lord can and wants to heal us but it’s not a quick fix. So, He brings the pain to the surface a little bit at a time as we wouldn’t be able to bear it if He brought it all up at once. The Lord said to His disciples, ““I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth.” John‬ ‭16:12-13‬. The Comforter who is also The Spirit, heals and guides us into truth like –

Nothing shall separate us from the love of God in Jesus (Romans 8:38). And nothing means nothing – not even murder, theft, alcoholism, drugs, abortion, adultery, etc “There’s therefore now no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1) “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm‬ ‭34:18‬); “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalm‬ ‭147:3‬). Amen
