What Helped You Get Through The Day?

During this wonderful week of praise & worship there has been quite a few ‘bumps in the road’ so to speak. I found myself repeatedly saying “Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit” Psalms 51:12 KJV and I spoke these words quietly and loudly to God; very quietly when things overwhelmed me & I needed help to figure out some very important things; “Lord Jesus please do not take Your joy from me for Your joy is my strength, send me help from Your Sanctuary & direct my actions.”

Later that week I received a phonecall with some information intended for my son as he is preparing for university but this information directly and greatly, assisted me. I looked up, God “You placed stars in the sky and You know them by name, You are amazing God!” The lyrics from this song burst through me with such pride, such love because God just keeps revealing His supernatural love for me. In that instant, knowing that God knows my name, was reaffirmed  to me. My colleague & friend sent me a beautiful ‘gift’, an acclamation of the help God places all around me, us. I call them ‘miracle bites‘ for they are  around us, blessings which God releases through others, for us. Favour & grace, even when we are undeserved of it. Today, I shared how God sent help, invaluable, much needed information, to assist me & words of wisdom to encourage me, reaffirming we are precious to Him & He is always in control.

Samantha ?

Please share with us, what helped you get through the day & I know you will be blessing others just as Jess blessed me with the gift below;

About Samantha Alexander

I am a born again Christian and I attend The Refuge Church of The Living God, St. Mary's, Clissold Park, North London. I come from an extremely large Christian family, being one of 8 children,'sibling' to many foster children & I'm married to a gorgeous serving Officer. We share two wonderful, at times a handful?, extremely talented & sporty children. We are blessed by the laughter & joy they bring us. My role in the Met is within the Specialist Crime Directorate and I have been a Forensic Practitioner for the past 15years. I have overcome much adversity with my health & had it not been for Gods hand upon me, my faith & good support from my family & really beautiful colleagues, I would have given up long ago.
God has positioned me here for such a time as this & He has now opened this wonderful door to London Christian Police Family.
I love to laugh & encourage people around me & my joy definitely springs up when we can smile through our storms. May God ever bless you, Samantha?
