??4The Warriors:PRAISE BREAK??2017?The Year Of Difference:Walk In The Light of Jesus Christ

“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:” John 11:25 KJV

Please join me in this praise break?? in giving thanks for The Warriors, those who rest in The Lord. Recently I gave you the awesome testimonies of Jane & Andre who overcame serious illness of cancer and meningitis in our Praise Break. Today, I take great joy in celebrating & praising God for the courageous fight and lives of the Warriors who have fallen asleep and gone to rest from their labour, child and adult alike. I honour those who fought a great & valiant battle against sickness, there are too many to name but God knows them ALL. They are not invisible and they are so very precious in His sight- He has called them home, out of pain.  Not understanding why some fall sleep & some remain here is not for me to question but to know that the will of God has been done through these special people.  I pray for the soldiers such as Daniel, Erin, Dempsey, Maddie, Shaun, Isabel, Katherine my Dad Wilfred, my niece Asha who fell asleep at 13yrs old and so very many more, true Warriors, who fought valiantly because through their battles & in their lives, they bought sunshine to everyone they connected with. They trusted that it was well to sleep in the arms of Our Father until the time of that blessed hope, when we will all meet again in Glorious Paradise, Heaven. Their lives makes us consider, what is our legacy? Are we living lovingly, peacefully with others, are we using the time to forgive those who have wronged us? Are we effecting change because as we see tomorrow is not promised to anyone but the gift of eternal life in Jesus Christ is: “Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” James 4:14 KJV
The Warriors above have made people sit up & listen; they have made sure Gods beauty is shone through their smiles and their kindness;  they have softened hard hearts of MPs & Government officials to DO MORE & demanded, through their illness, that medically & financially Governments need to give more. They have bought out such genuine, kindness in strangers they have never met, all over the world, moving them to give, to help, to campaign, to hold hands and so importantly to pray. We honour their fight, we thank them for their love, we praise God that their pain is now over & that one day soon, He will make known the mystery of death to us in that beautiful Paradise in Christ, where our hope is to see our loved ones again. Earth is not our home, Heaven is our resting place

Please read this moving testimony from Max Lucado, I hope you are encouraged by it to hold on and that you know for certain, that if YOU come to Jesus Christ, He will give you rest in every area of your life, mind, body & soul.

“I was on a plane when a fellow coming down the aisle called my name. He handed me a message he had scribbled on a napkin…

“Six years ago Lynne and I buried our 24-year-old daughter. To unplug our daughter from life support was very hard. Although it was painful, we were confident we were doing the right thing in laying her in the arms of a mighty God. He made our daughter better than new. He restored my Erin to his eternal presence. That is his best work! Our faith is getting us through this. Faith is a choice.”

How does a dad bury a daughter and believe…so deeply believe…that God meant him good and not harm? Simple. This grieving dad believes God’s promises. “Faith is a choice,” he wrote. It is. Max Lucado”

Jesus Christ OUR Covenant God, is still God even when we think He is silent??

About Samantha Alexander

I am a born again Christian and I attend The Refuge Church of The Living God, St. Mary's, Clissold Park, North London. I come from an extremely large Christian family, being one of 8 children,'sibling' to many foster children & I'm married to a gorgeous serving Officer. We share two wonderful, at times a handful?, extremely talented & sporty children. We are blessed by the laughter & joy they bring us. My role in the Met is within the Specialist Crime Directorate and I have been a Forensic Practitioner for the past 15years. I have overcome much adversity with my health & had it not been for Gods hand upon me, my faith & good support from my family & really beautiful colleagues, I would have given up long ago.
God has positioned me here for such a time as this & He has now opened this wonderful door to London Christian Police Family.
I love to laugh & encourage people around me & my joy definitely springs up when we can smile through our storms. May God ever bless you, Samantha?
