??4TheHomeless:2017?The Year of Difference:Walk in The Light of Jesus Christ

“And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God” Luke 18:27

The words spoken in this Bible verse were said emphatically by Jesus Christ, The Creator of ALL things. He was speaking about the limitations of temporal man but the limitlessness of Himself, Our Eternal God! Yes He boosts of His Power with ALL confidence, in that what He says, He will do! AH LORD GOD WE BLESS YOUR NAME! Today please pray with me and the family at LPCF;

Lord Jesus Christ, good & gracious Father. You are loving & kind & patient. Have mercy on us as we pray ask You to provide for Your homeless children; those who are displaced, especially because of war. I ask that You touch the hearts of mankind to help and reach out? to those who are broken because there is nowhere for them at ‘this time’ to rest their heads and have Your peace. Lord, I pray a very special pray for the invisible homeless, often forgotten in our communities; those who have been trafficked and abused & are in soul destroying conditions because of the unkindness & evil in our world; we may not them Lord but You know their names and see their conditions, send help please. Jesus I pray for those who have been made homeless & refugees because of the conditions in their country; those homeless because of addictions; those sleeping in their friend’s homes or in hostels, as a ‘temporary solution’ that a permanent home be given them. I pray for those in Social Service care who are  unsettled by constant placements or who are in homes awaiting permanent placements, children & adults alike: God You said “nothing is impossible with you“; You said “Heaven & earth will pass away BUT Your Word will not!” You are fully righteous & faithful to us & Your Word, it cannot return void. Remember Your children, forgive us and help us, especially Your children who are suffering.  Lord this is Your promise, to deliver us in time of trouble “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder” Nahum 1:13 KJV Lord Jesus, I know You will send help from above to touch our hearts to do & show kindness & mercy in this dire situation. Father much funds are needed, clothes are needed, medical supplies are needed, good, safe homes are needed, motivation and  and most of all Your peace.    I know You will honour Your word, be glorified in this Lord, amen.

Today is the day to do something different, to make a difference. The Year 2017 is the year that we offer up to God the best of the talents He gave us and the greatest gift of these is love; charity; borne from this is kindness. Will you show love and extend kindness to those in need today? There is a saying in the Caribbean which speaks of “prayer & potatoes; faith & works”. So powerful is prayer, especially intercessory prayer on behalf of others & so invaluable is kindness; it is never forgotten. Praying for a breakthrough touches the heart of Jesus & He is moved by our needs & ‘works’ – the is a verb which means ‘doing, action’-helping, reaching out, the works of faith. Will you join us a team LPCF & find someone to help, YES be active, by faith? There is SO much we can do & so many we can help. Will you extend your hand ?in THIS 2017 The Year of Difference. May God bless you for your kindness.

About Samantha Alexander

I am a born again Christian and I attend The Refuge Church of The Living God, St. Mary's, Clissold Park, North London. I come from an extremely large Christian family, being one of 8 children,'sibling' to many foster children & I'm married to a gorgeous serving Officer. We share two wonderful, at times a handful?, extremely talented & sporty children. We are blessed by the laughter & joy they bring us. My role in the Met is within the Specialist Crime Directorate and I have been a Forensic Practitioner for the past 15years. I have overcome much adversity with my health & had it not been for Gods hand upon me, my faith & good support from my family & really beautiful colleagues, I would have given up long ago.
God has positioned me here for such a time as this & He has now opened this wonderful door to London Christian Police Family.
I love to laugh & encourage people around me & my joy definitely springs up when we can smile through our storms. May God ever bless you, Samantha?
