Today’s exhortation – divine connections
I believe that whenever God wants to bless us, He brings the right people into our lives who carry the blessings He has for us. When God was getting ready to bless Joseph, He connected him to Pharaoh’s butler in prison. When God was getting ready to bless the widow who was down to her last meal before she died, He sent the prophet Elijah to meet her and through the prophet, God supernaturally supplied food for her. When God was preparing David for his role as King of Israel, he connected him to Jonathan the son of a king. Even though David was anointed as King, he didn’t know how to conduct himself as one yet. God has made it such that we will have to need each other. No one person has all the answers!
That’s why it’s important that we treat everyone we meet with dignity and respect because we never know if God has divinely connected us to them. They may very well be the ones carrying our breakthrough or blessings. They may also be the key to our promotion. If Joseph had been rude to the butler or hadn’t helped him when he needed it, he would have missed the opportunity to establish that connection and missed out on his release and promotion. I pray that as we go about this week, God brings divine connections our way to elevate us to the next level and may we never miss them when they come into our lives in Jesus Name. Amen
