Today’s exhortation – it will end well

Every so often we judge a matter by its beginning knowing full well from experience that it never ends that way! Yet, we fall into the trap of over-reacting every time something bad happens or doesn’t go the way we intended from the beginning. We’ve heard phrases like, “the downfall of a man is not the end of his life;” “it’s not how you start the race that matters, but how you finish!” I say this to encourage parents who have kids that are struggling with their speech at an early age, couples who are going through a difficult time in their relationship at the moment, families and friends that have fallen out, people who’s businesses are struggling, kids who are struggling in school, teenagers who are concerned about their looks etc etc

The beginning of God’s plan for us often looks nothing like it ends! The bible says, “The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭7:8‬). The Lord is our Keeper and the shade on our right hand. His promises never fail! Don’t panic and don’t be moved by what you see now, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might! “what you had in the past will seem small compared with the great prosperity you’ll have in the future.” (Job‬ ‭8:7‬) in Jesus Name! Amen
