Verse Of The Day??

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1John1:9

Gods word will not return void. He said “Heaven & earth will pass away but my word will not pass away”. If we confess then and truly mean sorry from the depths of our being, God will forgive us no matter what it is that we have done, no matter how wretched, no matter what lies the enemy tries to feed us or whisper in our ears- Jesus will forgive and cleanse us. There is a sin unto death though and that is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, for He IS God who was made flesh & dwelt amongst us. He who died on Calvery for us BUT rose again triumphantly on that awesome, third resurrection day. He who returned on Pentecost to live in us! What JOY- THE KING of KINGS is living in you and me, hallelujah!

Seeking forgiveness? Think we won’t receive it? Try Jesus! Trust Him to love us unconditionally. To keep His covenant promise to forgive us. Trust Him to reassure us, saying “fetch a robe, lay on the banquet, put a gold ring on my son/daughter; for today they have come home! Come child- all is forgiven”. Trust Him to bless us with the fruit of His Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.

This IS day! The time to come to Jesus is now; whilst His hands are extended, outstretched ALL the day long to us. The dispensation of grace. Question is, ‘what are we waiting for?’ ?

About Samantha Alexander

I am a born again Christian and I attend The Refuge Church of The Living God, St. Mary's, Clissold Park, North London. I come from an extremely large Christian family, being one of 8 children,'sibling' to many foster children & I'm married to a gorgeous serving Officer. We share two wonderful, at times a handful?, extremely talented & sporty children. We are blessed by the laughter & joy they bring us. My role in the Met is within the Specialist Crime Directorate and I have been a Forensic Practitioner for the past 15years. I have overcome much adversity with my health & had it not been for Gods hand upon me, my faith & good support from my family & really beautiful colleagues, I would have given up long ago.
God has positioned me here for such a time as this & He has now opened this wonderful door to London Christian Police Family.
I love to laugh & encourage people around me & my joy definitely springs up when we can smile through our storms. May God ever bless you, Samantha?
