Hello everyone,
Thank you for the come back to last week’s PL. One reply was as follows-
“Thank you for uplifting me & helping me to examine myself as to “what tree am I sitting in?” You are speaking with authority & I love that. What are we doing with the talents God blessed us with & when, if ever, do we spend quality time with Jesus?”
- Sickness and pressure of work is what I am hearing about at the moment from all the police forces that read this PL – so much Prayer needed for so many people including families who are sick.
During this week I have had so many conversations with friends where the statement has been made – “Does God know about this? Can He see what is going on?” As I hear, say myself and write that statement, I have to immediately ask the Lord for forgiveness. Of course He knows and sees. However there are so many of us having such difficult times right now.
I am so grateful that later in the week the following phrase crossed my path – “It is well with my soul“. This is a phrase from a very old Hymn written by Horatio Spafford.
“When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul”
When you have a moment please look up the reason behind his writings.
Please be assured of my daily Prayers for you all.
Many Blessings in Him
Alice.
