“The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveller” Job 31:32 KJV
This morning I implore you to consider the homeless, those displaced by war & those struggling because of the trials of their circumstances. Maybe a family in your child’s school. Now consider the weather and the season. We are being called to service, called to serve others & not think of our issues. As God has blessed us, and we are so very fortunate, consider the roof over our heads, the warm bed we slept in and clean water, to name a few blessings; so let us bless another. Today will you take a couple of pounds and buy a hat & glove set and give to the homeless in your community or on your way about your daily business? Will you stop today and buy a hot drink, or soup, even a meal, for that stranger today? Please consider them, do not pass them by. They are not invisible. Join us at LPCF and open the door of your hearts to a stranger, a lonely neighbour or a struggling family. When we do this, when we serve well, we are being the hands & feet of Jesus Christ “And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me” thank you?
