Today’s exhortation – thank You Father

“It is good to give thanks to the LORD, And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, And Your faithfulness every night,
For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.” (‭Psalms‬ ‭92:1-2, 4-5‬). The thoughts of The Lord God are deep, who can understand them ? By one man called Joseph, He’s shown us that appearances can be deceiving. Humanly speaking, our may be in a mess, but spiritually speaking He’s preparing us for greatness.

Our lives may look a mess right now, no job, family torn apart, afraid, ill etc, but that’s nothing for God. He’s not scratching His head thinking “O My, what can I do with this mess! I haven’t seen anything like it before.” He made us out of dirt and we’re fearfully and wonderfully made. Things may not look like much in your life right now and you may think God has abandoned you, but that’s a lie from the devil. I believe we ought to give thanks in our most difficult times because they are indications that something good is about to happen. People may treat us with contempt and hatred but He uses our misfortunes to bring us into His favour! He makes all things beautiful in His time. Amen
