Today’s exhortation – dreams and visions
God’s word never fails and so if He has given you a dream, prophecy, scripture or word hold onto it and let it be your anchor in the storm you are in this season. Whether you’re facing an illness, family crises, debt etc, hold onto to His word. Some years ago, The Lord gave me a dream about my future. A couple of years later, I became seriously ill, but because of the dream, I had complete faith that there was no way it was going to end in my death because it hadn’t been fulfilled. As David said, “I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.” (Psalms 27:13).
I believe God gave Joseph the two dreams about his future, for the same reason. He needed it to go through his trials. Also, Joseph who could interpret dreams said himself that, “a dream is repeated twice when the thing is established by God and God will shortly bring it to pass.”(Genesis 41:32). Therefore, he knew that despite his circumstances, God’s word will surely come to pass in his life. What you’re going through too is just a test of your faith. God says, “My word, which comes from My mouth, it will not come back to Me without results. It will accomplish whatever I want and achieve whatever I send it to do.”” (Isaiah 55:11). Amen!
