Today’s exhortation – Christ The Man!

Billy Graham, once shared the story of walking along a road and stepping on an ant hill. As he looked down, he saw the ants rolling over, scattering here and there, some dead from the weight of his frame. If only, he thought, I could become an ant for just a moment, I could help them. He then went on to explain that this is how it is with God, who became man in the form of Jesus Christ. The bible says, Christ Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! (‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭6-8‬).

It is written, For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, (‭I Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬). As a Man, He is able to empathize with our weaknesses, because He has been tried in every way, just as we are—yet He did not sin. Because He’s knows what it’s like, we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭15-16‬). Even now, He’s praying for you and I to overcome like He did. How awesome is that! Amen
